Summer is coming again, a time of rest and the sea, a time of sports and games, a time of entertainment and fun. We have chosen the beginning of summer to present a new gaming and sports concept, a new concept for competitions and contests. Yes, many people would prefer to just relax and have a good time in the summer, while others would prefer to test their body and mind. What is the essence of the new game and sports concept, what is the essence of the new competition concept called “Imagine”? The idea is to create new games and sports, plan new types of competitions and art contests that develop our thinking and imagination and help us achieve unexpected results, get incredible pleasure and positive emotions. We will just give a few examples to illustrate the idea of the concept and direction, and we will develop and expand this idea further, we will look for new ways to develop the idea, we will develop and test various details, scenarios, formats, options and directions.  First let’s talk about the game version of the concept, let’s give an example of a game created based on the “Imagine” concept. This can be implemented as a game between two or more people playing alone or in groups, or as a game between two or more teams. The game can begin with the solution of the introductory task or with a draw to decide which player or team will start the game, and which player and team will give the introductory task, set the introductory theme and direction of the game. In the event that the game does not start with a draw, but with an introductory task, then the player or team that solves the task first will have the right to set the next topic and direction, and this topic and direction players and teams will have to follow until the options for continuing the topic are exhausted or until the initiative passes to another player or team. What types of topics and directions can be set and followed: any that test the imagination, resourcefulness and ingenuity of the players, or topics and directions that fall within the competence of the players, selected from their areas of interest. Example: after winning a draw or solving an initial problem, the player or team chooses the first topic in the game and the initial direction, for example, to find a solution to an important problem or come up with a unique concept in a certain area, and the players begin to come up with unique ideas, solutions, options, strategies to solve the problem or achieve the goal, make original suggestions for on this occasion, to offer unique directions and options for continuing the topic. Continuing the theme is an important goal for players and teams. By offering interesting sequels, they can keep the initiative or take it away from others in case other players and teams run out of options and they cannot offer unique ideas, solutions and sequels. To continue the theme, players must constantly come up with unique ideas and original solutions on this topic. The winners are the players or teams that offer the most ideas and solutions, expand the topic as much as possible and stay in the topic the longest. These players and teams hold the initiative and, having won the first game, can set the theme and direction of the next game. When ideas, solutions and options are exhausted, when continuation options are exhausted or when the score is tied, players and teams can start negotiations to change the topic and direction. A new draw may be held, during which the player or team will determine a new theme and direction of the game. Players and teams earn points for each idea on the topic, for each successful continuation of the topic, for each successful answer, solution of the problem, for each successful continuation in the game. When a topic is set, players and teams must offer ideas and options for solving a problem or achieving a goal, for which they receive points. It is extremely important that other players and teams can respond to these ideas, options and ideas with their own in order to earn points and continue and develop the theme in order to stay in the game. If a player or team runs out of options and they cannot continue the topic, are no longer able to offer good ideas and options for developing the topic, they lose the initiative or quit the game. On the other hand, if they do it successfully, they score points, seize the initiative, win the game, then set the next topic and direction and move towards the final victory. The final victory goes to the player or team that scores the most points in games, continues or successfully stays in most games and wins most games. A draw in a particular game is possible if the points scored are equal or when the continuation options in this game are exhausted for all remaining players and teams at the same time, when there is no more player or team capable of continuing the topic. The player or team that manages to prevail over the others and successfully complete the topic, remaining the last one who can still offer ideas and options on the topic, wins the game and gets the right to set the topic and direction of the next game.

With this game concept, you can create many unique things, many unique ideas and solutions can be born, and solutions to many problems can be found. With this game concept, you can develop, exercise and test your imagination, ingenuity, resourcefulness, creativity and many other qualities. The name “Imagine” is suggested as the name of the concept, because the player must first learn to understand the topics well, imagine them, imagine possible options for the development and continuation of the topic, solve problems, achieve goals. The player should be able to imagine what he would do in a given situation, what steps he would take to achieve results under certain circumstances, how he could achieve his goals in various conditions. The player must be able to imagine possible continuations of the topic, be able to present and offer unique ideas, solutions and options in order to be able to win games, be able to remain successful in games, even if a particular topic does not suit him and is not one of the most interesting and favorite for the player. The player must have a very good imagination, must have foresight, must be able to put forward ideas on any subject, on any specific task and in any situation, under any conditions and circumstances. He should be able to stir up his imagination and use it at any moment. What would life be like if the Earth were flat? Will there be tunnels or elevators to move from one side of the board to the other? And since the Earth is actually round, which type of transport is the most promising and why? Do you want to travel as fast as possible? Perhaps the most promising are hypersonic aircraft? Do you want to travel as safely as possible? Perhaps we should think about strengthening vehicle bodies, developing shock-resistant and explosion-proof capsules. Isn’t it great to travel by plane, where passengers are placed in a special shockproof and explosion-proof capsule? Thus, in the event of an accident or in case of danger, this capsule can be separated from the aircraft and, using spare engines and special parachutes, can safely land on the ground. Have you seen the parachute capsule that astronauts use to return from space flight and land on earth? Imagine a similar capsule, but even more durable and reliable, capable of landing easily to the applause of 200 infinitely impressed and grateful passengers. Would you fly more often if such capsules existed? Which type of transport and which way of transport development is preferable? Faster or safer? How to make transportation faster and safer at the same time? How would you continue this topic? Will you win this game? Do you like the idea of floating islands that surpass cruise ships in size and capabilities and are a kind of floating cities? Why would you travel anywhere at all if you can stay on a fabulous floating island? What would attract you if you stayed? What could attract others? What would a floating island look like? Or imagine that the end of the world has come, and there is a need to build a huge Noah’s Ark to save humanity. How would it look, how would it meet the needs of different people? How to meet the needs of a large number of different people? Such a project, as a variant of Noah’s Ark, can serve as a prototype for the creation of new ultramodern and autonomous offices, campuses, buildings, modules and bases, and without approaching the end of the world. Did you like these topics and directions? Do you have any ideas on themes and directions for games? Share them 🙂

The “Imagine” concept can also have a sports version. The sports concept also implies a rich imagination, resourcefulness, ingenuity and other qualities and can become a serious test for the mind and body. Participants should be able to understand goals and tasks well, imagine good options for continuing the fight and subsequent actions and steps to achieve good results, as well as strive to stay in the competition longer, cope with as many tasks and challenges as possible. The sports version again has themes and directions that are set by participants and teams. Topics can be arbitrary or from the sphere of interests of participants. Again, there should be an introductory task or a draw at the beginning, so that the one who first solves the introductory task or wins the draw has the opportunity to determine the topic and direction of the first round of the competition. Competitions can be divided into periods or rounds. Participants will need to come up with tasks, challenges and tests on a given topic, which their opponents will have to decide whether to cope with them or complete, and answer these tasks, challenges and tests by coming up with new, even more unique ones, in accordance with the theme and direction of the round. Participants will have to come up with unique tasks, challenges and moves to complicate the task and life of the opponent and keep the initiative. The opponent will be obliged to answer the challenge and try to cope with it. Since we are talking about sports here, and people’s physical abilities are different, it will be possible to skip some tasks, challenges and tests. Participants and teams will have to follow a given theme and direction, invent and put before the opponent more and more new challenges, tasks and tests, and also strive to cope with the challenges, tasks and tests invented and set by the opponent. Participants and teams will receive points for successfully completing tasks. The winners will be those participants and teams that score the most points. In each round, period, stage or competition, the winner is the participant or team that successfully completed the largest number of tasks in the competition and scored the highest number of points for this. The warring parties will have to constantly come up with challenges, tasks and tests in accordance with a given topic and direction, cope with them and continue the fight. The participant or team with the highest number of points in the round gets the right to determine the topic and direction of the next round. The theme and direction can be changed after negotiations between the participants, and players and teams will have the right to skip rounds, stages and competitions. Participants will have the right to skip any round, topic and direction they don’t like. This can be an important element of the strategy of participants and teams: to participate and win in those rounds in which they feel strong or in which they have the potential to achieve a good result, and skip those rounds in which they are not very confident. Or, on the other hand, they can choose such rounds and topics that will help them get an interesting experience, learn to tolerate surprises more easily, cope with excitement, uncertainty and fear, as well as adapt to new realities. What do you think?

And in fact, the concept of “Imagine” can be used to create, plan, organize and conduct any kind of competitions. The idea of using your imagination to challenge others and start competing with them in a certain topic and direction is applicable in many areas of life. The idea of participating in separate rounds of contests on a specific topic is applicable in art, science, technology and many other fields. Each round will have a different theme and direction. The topic and direction are determined by the participant or the team that first solved the initial task or won the draw. And here the participants will again have to offer and put forward unique ideas, solutions and tasks on a given topic, come up with and compose unique tasks for their opponents, who will have to cope with them and, in turn, respond to opponents’ challenges by offering even more unique and original ideas and solutions, and continuing the topic, try to complicate life opponents and defeat them. Points will be awarded for each idea and for each successfully completed task, and the participant or team with the highest number of points will win a round or competition and will have the right to determine the topic and direction of the next round. In order to be more likely to score more points and win a round or a competition, participants and teams should strive to last as long as possible in each topic and in each round of the competition, offering and putting forward new ideas to achieve the goal and solve the problem posed in the topic, as well as cope with the emerging problems and challenges of competitors. Even if it will be difficult for them to come up with new ideas, they should try to stay in the competition longer in order to score more points and gain experience. If a participant or team runs out of ideas and options for continuing the topic, they are eliminated from the round and lose the opportunity to score more points for a particular round and topic. The participants or teams that offer the most ideas and cope better with the challenges of the opponents who manage to last the longest in the round, the participants and teams that remain last, who can continue the topic, win the round, score the most points in the round and get the right to determine the topic and direction of the next round. The topics of the rounds can again be arbitrary or selected in accordance with the interests, competencies and wishes of the participants. A topic is considered completed in a round when a certain participant or team remains the last one who is still able to offer ideas, continue the topic and strive to achieve goals, or when the options for continuing the topic among the participants are exhausted. Then a new round begins, a new draw is held and a new theme is set. The topic can be changed after negotiations between the participants. Participants will be able to skip rounds that they are not interested in or are not ready for. Or vice versa, they may try to gain valuable experience and new knowledge. This will help participants develop a strategy for participating in competitions, find their strengths and weaknesses and work on them. Participants can argue about the reality of the proposed ideas and solutions and reject them. If a particular idea or decision of a participant or team is rejected, participants and teams will have to negotiate, come up with a new idea or solution to replace the rejected ones, or, in case of disagreement and dispute, skip the task. Do you like such competitions? Do you like the concept of “Imagine”?

Are you ready to test your imagination? Do you like games, sports and competitions? Are you ready to play and compete?
